Dr. James Burgess
Dr. Burgess has owned Country Animal Hospital since 1987 and has been practicing veterinary medicine for 40 years. He did his undergraduate studies at Oregon State University and got his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Washington State University in 1974. After graduating vet school he was an Associate Veterinarian in Walla Walla, Washington. After which, he worked in Omak, Washington for a while before moving to Hermiston. When he isn't working at the hospital he is working on expanding his other business, in multi-level marketing, with his wife.

Desiree Burgess
Desiree is the Owner/Financial Manager at Country Animal Hospital. She has worked with us since 1994. She has done everything from kennel assistant to veterinary assistant. When she isn't working hard, she is running around with her son, Pehyton. Desiree's household includes her Pomeranians, Bit Bit and Napoleon, her Dachshund Poppy, and her Boxer Thelma. |

Chelsie Filippi
Chelsie has been with Country Animal Hospital since 1996. She currently works from the home office, helping with ordering and accounting. In her down time she spends time with her husband, and son, Joe. Chelsie's family includes her Newfoundland, Sookie and a bearded dragon named Blade. |
